Just a reminder, last month Man Utd fans were saying that Reguilon wasn't fit to lace Luke Shaw's boots...
Man Utd did want him, but didn't like the clauses that Real wanted included, if the print media is to be believed
You did. Then we signed him and he wasn't fit to lace Luke Shaw's boots! You, on the other hand, insisted that you didn't want to sign a left-back. Then you signed a left-back.
That was never a penalty as long as I have a hole in my aris. The day Spurs are gifted a penalty like that after recommendation by VAR, is the day hell freezes over. Justice that Penandes failed to score.
It's deal he can't lose money on and if he goes back having done well for us we will have had him on loan and been paid for the privilege
Being homesick is a danger. Corona times means he is not getting the experience of the new WHL crowd either.
I didn't sign a left back mate, the club did. I stick by my assertions that we didn't need one though, if i was Williams i would be well pissed off.
Reading the reports of the ManU match yesterday, I understand that everything is now OK at the club. Well that's nice for them isn't it. Incidentally, does the vast ManU penalty tally include missed ones? I know a few here and there that aren't included in the stats are hardly likely to be noticed given the vast numbers involved, but it would be nice to know. Didn't they miss a couple last season as well? If their current tempo keeps up, they'll be set to eclipse their total from last season. Don't expect analysis on why this is happening from the pundits anytime soon. In fact the BBC report states: "Fernandes has now been directly involved in 20 goals in his 18 Premier League appearances for United - 11 goals and nine assists - and has scored in each of his last three games." Indeed, the assists total is good (though some people argue that it isn't that meaningful a statistic), but the overall contribution doesn't look quite as good if you remove the vast number of penalties. Agreed for normal players that don't get so many it's not as important to mention, but it's a somewhat different situation for ManU! I would also argue that a proper analysis of the contribution of penalties to last seasons performance of ManU has been sadly lacking from anywhere.
Pragmatism imho...he realised we needed one NOW...we can deal with buying a replacement if and when that happens
Yes, I did Funny how, since he chose Spurs over your lot, Man Utd fans have been acting like jilted exes because one of the 82,000 players you were linked with chose someone else Like they always do
Yeah definitely. Was a no-brainer of a signing. Two and a half games in and he’s already looking the part. Can see why he got tonnes of praise whilst at Sevilla and why he was in the Europa TOTS after winning the trophy.
