“Erling Haaland: Real Madrid is 'the dream for players', says Man City striker's agent “

Reminds me of the Pogba days with that god-awful greedy bastard of an agent.

Some extra breathing space for us tonight with the Spuds and Newcastle both losing their games today.

Agree and I'm sure that's what Ten Hag will be thinking.

It would be nice if we could end Liverpool's chances tomorrow though. Double bubble <whistle>

Newcastle and Spurs both fck up today. I know we're down to the bare bones and need to pull ourselves back against Sevilla on Thursday, but any chance we can put in a convincing win tomorrow? I've a feeling not.

Doesn't need to be convincing, a scrappy win will do!

A team of de Gea, AWB, Maguire, Shaw( or Lindelof), Malacia (or Shaw)

    Casemiro, Sabitzer/Eriksen, Fernandes,

    Antony Sancho Martial

is hardly ****, and should be able to beat Forest.
I know Forest are ok ish at home, but if can't do that then we're ****ed basically.

    Aye it will.

Team looks good on paper but a lot of players looking like the games are taking their toll. I think the injuries are also reflecting that.

Looks like Rashford may just be ok to return for the Sevilla game. We really are up against it in terms of fitness and availability from one game to the next.

I haven't checked but surely Brandon Williams is available to play LB seeing as that's his position and he should be more than capable defensively against Forest.

    Get the fck in!

I shall continue my trend of not doing Sunday match threads as it's clearly having an effect.

    Decent win that.

Brandon Williams may well be a left back but then so is Malacia! (although **** on Thursday so deservedly dropped imo)

Funny putting Dalot there, but it wasn't so bad.

Got to keep keeping on. I really want us to pursue Thursday hard, and then see how the FA Cup semi pans out. Because I can't see us beating City in the final anyway!

It’s going to be a cup final and if we get there, we surely have to believe that we can beat anyone. We have beat them already this season, why the hell won’t we be able to do it again?

Perhaps you haven't noticed the absolute capitulation aginst City, Liverpool and Newcastle when we go a goal or two down quickly, which is what City most defitintely are capable of doing?

    No? I have.

Not saying we can't beat City in a one off game, but I would say that the odds are against us if we get to the final. And definitely as we're without Martinez. We'd need absolutely everyone else fit and firing to stand any chance. And Casemiro and Eriksen would both need to be playing to prevent utter panic if we're under the cosh.

I make Brighton favourites to reach the final. They were cheated of a win against Spurs and completely dominated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Their form is definitely better than us and having Lindelof and Maguire as our central defenders is a huge weakness.

Maguire was a disaster waiting to happen. So it proved. I’ve never known any defender being such a liability. That guy cannot defend and he’s the most expensive defender in the world.

You can't see any fault in the keeper?
