Maybe not, they'll be no less historical.

Numbers 21-40 first, before anyone else.

Scenarios really show how he is a dead man walking. I think, regardless of performance and result this season is now looking like a write-off, and potentially worse as Rodgers seems to have lost the players and the fans, recipe for disaster.. I don't think the situation is redeemable for him now. It would take a biblical run now to win back the trust, and if you look at Everton, Chelsea and City all away coming up I think that string of games will be the nail in the coffin. My only hope is that FSG act quickly, before any decent replacements that are available get snapped up. They're not stupid men, I think they'll be able to sense the knifes coming out for him (more than ever).

No, the useless f*uckwit should have been sacked last season.
With all the records he has been setting with Liverpool, I honestly don't see anything other than relegation getting him sacked/

i think it's obvious that they've been courting the likes of Ancelotti. The only thing that'll give him a stay of execution will be if FSG can't line up the man that they want. If the rumours that Ancelotti has decided it's not for him are true, then gnashers might survive a tad longer, but it sounds like the decision that he's done has already been made.

I think he can take over Newcastle if he times his departure right.

Aye agree with this, but even then thats a stay of execution until the summer (at the very latest) when they'll court managers properly.

Hope this isn't true. As brutal as Rodgers decline has been, he doesn't deserve his job being branded around to other managers while he's still in the post. Think it's now a shambles on all levels, including players who for me, aren't playing for him right now.

I think he's lost the dressing room mate.

Why even bother though. It just seems a waste of everyone's time.

There next manager is currently in charge of a premier league side IMO.

There was a picture last night off Rodgers talking to the team before the shoot-out and not one of them looked like they were paying any attention. Sums it up really, days are numbered.

I think our problems can't be fixed by a change of manager, and some fans on here are going to be in for a rude awakening. Grass isn't always greener.

Next performance will confirm it. If they come out like this again then they're treading water until the new man..

Seeing some of Gerrard's quotes this past week, I think he was the one holding it all together. Gerrard was very much for Brendan, Brendan was in his pocket and was his puppet.

Now he's gone Rodgers has very few friends in a dressing room that's at rock bottom.

Said the same..if they go for another "up and comer" then they want to keep the stupid set up. If they go for a more successful manager I can't see them thinking that type will accept anything but their own way..

When Moyes did his best to destroy us, the dressing room was beyond repair. We had to spend big to completely overhaul the entire squad. The question is, do Liverpool have the resources to do such a thing or do you believe that a new manager can revitalise the squad and negate the need to spend a fortune.

Let's not pretend you are as rich as us or the oil clubs. You've spend horribly in recent years and your owners may be nervous to be so generous in the future.

Even if you did get a top class manager, I don't think they could make too much of a difference. You need a make over.
