Hey, lads! Here's a little gem. We used to have a player who only ever scored goals that didn't matter, such as the "1" in a 2-1 defeat. His name was Darren Bent, and he was a total waste of space. All he did was hang around the goal waiting for someone to pass the ball to him so he could take a pop-shot at goal. Occasionally, the ball used to go into the back of the net. I'm wondering if some of you lads believe that Lukaku could be your Darren Bent? It's worth discussing, eh?
Lukaku's first touch is the secret to his success because defenders and Lukaku himself don't have a ****ing clue where the ball's going and throws them right off, luckily he has a world class 2nd
Well at least we may get a better GD. Which would have given us CL football the previous season ahead of the ****ty slickers. In the league, a goal always matters
Him and Fellaini always have the element of surprise. Unfortunately the one they usually surprise is themselves...
I didn't think I would say that but after last season I am hoping that Lukaku is indeed the flat track bully that most fans take pleasure in deriding. We could have done with someone scoring against the minnows
Doing a Lukaku = getting your team on the way to an easy victory!! Lukaku and Pogba scoring: not bad for a start.
