    Why? He's a good player yes but he's not worth that money. Ings or Haaland or that Argentinian lad would be much better value and still do the same if not more.

    That’s only 25m a season. They will get that back in corporate endorsements and then some. Every massive corporate entity will want a bit of that pie.

    Look at it this way getting Ronaldo on the shirt and number will be 25 quid a pop and that **** is pure profit.

    They will sell that well over 1 million times.

    There your 25m back right there.

    This deal will make Manu more money than cost.

    That's where it becomes frustrating that we don't show some ambition. I appreciate you don't jump straight in with a Ronaldo but these mega players practically pay for themselves.
    I'm pretty sure Joelinton shirt sales haven't cleared the £40M spent on him
