    For sure, for sure.

By the way, have you noticed that every time you post Nev posts right after you? It's a bit creepy.

    Ooh, scary.

An autistic virgin and a clinically obese man who's wife left him because he could no longer perform sexually are ganging up on me.

    I'm soooooo scared!

Don't encourage this bunch of pricks ER, your Wummery may be cliched at times but it's usually funny (to me anyway) the sad fact is the So Solid crew on here are beyond pity.

And to think Medro had the gall to dig me up about my age? <laugh> He must be about 12 years old if his patter (and repeated photoshop mock ups) are anything to go by. A creepy obsessed arsehole.

Back to the OP - if supporters of a club want to sing in support of one of their players who is seriously ill (regardless of whether or not it was self inflicted) then fine. I must admit to finding it a bit nasueating that it's now all so orchestrated though - that's not a dig at Rangers as many club's fans now do the same.

I went to see Watford play 3 days after Hillsborough. They had a collection and about 10 minutes to the end of the game announced the amount collected and the crowd started singing you'll never walk alone. i joined in as it was spontaneous but if supporters organisations had asked me to do it a couple of days before the game I'd have probably booed................

That's a much better way of doing things. The UK's been an emotional circus since Diana died. Everybody needs to share their collective grief and they all need to do it publicly. People believe that Jeremy Kyle is valid:huh: I watched it one day they have a lie detector test to tell which sister has cheated on the other with the rottweiler.

A lot of folk buy into all that **** though. It's why youtube and Facebook are so popular. Any real emotions are replaced by lol's and smilies. Warhol was wrong there are far too many attention seekers now to even contemplate sharing their 15 minutes worth. You never got JHendrix@voodoojimi giving it, Far out man these diced carrots are really trippy, did you?

See 'Spoilt Rotten: The Toxic Cult of Sentimentality' by Theodore Dalrymple (or to a lesser, but much more enjoyable extent Michael Foley's 'The Age of Absurdity').
