Odds on Colin ****er! Saw ladbrokes giving 10/1 for Paul Jewell earlier, tho' 33/1 was available if anybody wanted value for a punt!
Fear the worst if this is true, the guy spent loads at Sunderland and hardly improved them, O'Neill comes in and turns them around straight away. With no money at Ipswich he was dreadful.
Won't happen, would be a ****ing nightmare for you lot if it did tho', looks like Colin's the bookies favourite, shame really, you deserve better!
It would be a nightmare, though I'm not a Leeds fan, I support Newcastle and went to Uni in Sunderland thats how I know about Roy Keane's managerial history.
No money at Ipswich - are you mad??????? He spent over 12m in his time at Town. May not be a very amount of money in general footballing terms but at Championship level it is an enormous amount. He is a joke manager. Possibly well suited to working with Ken Bates
In the words of Kevin Keegan.."I'd love it, I'd really love it". My hatred of Keane is well known around those who actually know me, I would not piss on him if he was on fire, so having him as the Leeds manager would be ideal for me, as it means I will return to every game and abuse him for as long as I wish and until he reacts..which he does. The most obnoxious **** the world has ever known and a typical chip on the shoulder rebels attitude to life.
If anyone knows anyone about football, he would never be a football manager ever again, or infact ever play part in football ever again. For me he is the worst Ipswich manager in history and took us from a promising position when he took over, spent £12million and ruined us. Alot of the problems we are experiencing this season are because he left us in a mess. Just look at his first decision he made at the club, selling Jordan Rhodes for 200k to Huddersfield, it was very contreversial at the time and still is, as I'm sure you can imagine. He has no redeeming features, he is just an arrogant, bitter, ar**hole!! I think I would even hate him if he returned to Ipswich as an opposition manager. I feel sorry for any team which he manages, maybe with the exception of Norwich and still I'd contemplate that one!!
Didn't know that but compared to the amount he wasted at Sunderland then that isn't that much. Spent 50 million to finish 15th and then more money to have them in the relegation zone the following December when he walked away and left Sbragia to help them sneak to survival through the dreadful performance of teams like us that year.
Roy Keane, for me Hero to complete zero... Loved him as a player, one of those you would hate to play against etc. But as a manager he is a joke, has in a year & half ****ed our club up so much it will take years to put right, if we ever manage it..! If I was Evans I would ban him from our club..!
Yeah, because he committed pre-meditated grievous bodily harm against you which he should have been put behind bars for.
At least Di Canio is entertaining when he's not saluting Mussolini! Gotta love his last post match interview, and if he could kick a few more players up the arse for real that would be great. Keane would be a disaster, and by all accounts (and from my ex, who knew him when younger) he is an arrogant **** all of the time.
There wouldn't be the same fuss about Di Canio if he'd done some commie fist-gesture thing. I don't rate him as good enough for Leeds manager, but he's the sort of mad bastard I'd happily get behind if he came to our club. We need a ****ing nutter.
To be fair I think Keane was a big reason why Bruce ended up failing with Sunderland, they signed a lot of players like Healy, Chopra, Stokes, McCartney, Fulop and Reid who were all good Championship players but not good enough to make in the Premier League. He also took some of the Sunderland flops and signed them for Ipswich
