Supporting both QPR and England is a ****ing tough place to be. I’m just hoping England come out and do the haka, and the QPR lads sing Molly Malone before kick off. Won’t impact the results but would be a laugh.

Due to train strike I’ll be driving home from Loftus Road when this match is on. Note to self, stay calm.

    God
Where do I start. Due to previous schenanigans, all of which sb has correctly called me out on, I know I’m walking on quicksand.
In Ireland, we don’t have the playing numbers, the infrastructure or the history to be credible competitors in most recognised sports. Hence, when we overachieve, we are generally slow to pontificate, Guinnes aside. This rugby team is different. They are genuinely world class and we’re seriously struggling to accept this.
We’ve grown up on the norm of England/France..large gap…Ireland/Wales…small gap…Scotland/Italy. To have an Irish team contesting this is not the norm.

Personally, I’m *****ing myself over tomorrow. 3 weeks ago I think we’d have put 15-20 pts on this English team but they will arrive in Dublin tomorrow with a point to prove. Pride is at stake. Nobody has patience these days. I can assure you anybody over here who knows anything about the game (even minuscule like me) is playing down this game. We can’t control the media. I fully expect an epic battle with one score either way separating the two sides.

I'll be amazed if we get within 15 points, seriously your miles ahead of us in every department. Dopey nuts chopping and changing every game, but retains the dimwits in the front row ! Enjoy the slam, it's deserved.

England have a free shot at us today. Always beware of the team that has nothing to lose. This English team has lost its way and is playing with no confidence. But….it’s full of very good players. They didn’t all become rubbish overnight.

Have you got a ticket, or watching in the pub/golf club?

It’s yours to lose, as you well know. There might be a dodgy five minutes, and I reckon that the English will storm out of the traps with the humiliation of last week fresh in the memory, but you will ultimately control the game, far too much nous for us, no redemption for our mob.

    Tickets impossible to get.
Watching it at home as pub scene too loud. Going out after it.
I reckon the first 20 will be brutal. Hope we can take the physical punishment that England will undoubtedly hand out. After that, I think we’ll grind it out. This won’t be anything other than a bruising tight encounter. Personally a 1pt win is all I want. Result today is important not necessarily the performance.

Nah. This is the greatest Irish side I've ever seen. No1 in the world and rightly so.
There'll be at least 20 points between these two sides.
    England are way off it.

England are up for it, but naive penalties are frustrating.

Ireland yet to get going as we know they can

English line speed coordinated and extremely fast. Ireland haven’t picked their way through it yet.

Surely you’re proud of your teams efforts today!!!
Ireland obviously nervous but England have showed up today as they were always going to after last week.
The effort and tackling is top class. The penalties are coming from intense Irish pressure

A slow, nervy start from Ireland and England have been a lot better than of late.
    Excellent line speed and breakdown.
Ireland have slowly started to show their class and should pull away in the 2nd half. Still far too many English penalties.

    Here we go.
Another ****ing red card ruins the game.
    Completely accidental.
    What a joke!

I’m all for protecting players particularly with tackles to the head but that’s not a red card. That’s a BS decision
