What do you get if you cross Tinder with Fight Club?

The answer is Rumblr, a new app that aimed at helping people meet up for scraps.

And before you check your calendar to make sure it's not April 1, don't bother - the app is apparently "100% serious".

A pending idea pitching itself as "Tinder for fighting", the beta for Rumblr will be launched at 10pm GMT tonight.

The concept is simple. Like with popular dating app Tinder , users arrange to meet total strangers in their area - but rather than going on a date, they have a fight.

A spokesman for the team behind the app, which operates out of an office in SoHo, New York, told the Daily News it definitely wasn't a spoof.

He said: "We have raised relatively substantial funding from private American investors and the app is fully developed.

"Rumblr is an app for recreational fighters to find, meet and fight other brawl enthusiasts nearby."

The app actively encourages trash talk, urging users to insult their opponents.

It says: "Tell your match what you don't like about their picture

According to app's website, the time and location of each fight is made public so that other users who live nearby can turn up to watch the violence, should they wish.

There's even an interactive map for users to find fights happening in their vicinity.

A filter system allows people to find women through the "RumblrHER" feature, while those interested in mass brawls are directed to the "RumblrGROUP" facility.

Users can create individual profiles where they detail their vital stats, including age, height, weight, skill level, as well as listing their wins and losses.

But if you're interested, you'll have to wait because it's not available just yet. According to its website, Rumblr is "coming soon on the App Store".

Another app new to the market is 3nder. Its a new app that's prepared to offer you even more company.

3nder - pronounced Thrinder - is an app which has been developed specifically to team up threesomes for romance, fun and whatever else they have in mind.

And the London-based start-up, whose slogan is "kink different", is already a big hit with more than one million downloads in its first year.

It's even taken America by storm, with California the market most likely to 3nder followed by New York, according to the New York Post.

According to the makers, 3nder allows you to "date kinky, curious and openminded singles and couples around you", but all in perfect privacy and discretion.

Founder and CEO Dimo Trifonov has stated that the app is for those who are “straight, bisexual, gay, poly- or pansexual”.

The 25-year-old tech fan says the idea came from a girlfriend who revealed that she was attracted to a woman.

The app description explains: "It's about feeling comfortable with your curiosity about sexuality. Get your lovely matches and start exchanging photos and messages."

You can also create group chats with the matches you already have," it adds.

"Across the world, users are sending 1.2 million messages a month, logging around four million swipes, so many are obviously on board with the app's plan to see love "evolving beyond social norms".

The app this week said it has raised £325,000 in seed capital from unnamed investors.
