Bristol City have just signed Ryan McGivern on loan from Manchester City - he is a left footed centre back who can also play at left back. Could this spell a move for Fontaine once again? I doubt it, but maybe, just maybe!
Was just about to post the same thing. Someone on Twitter on BBC said he is to join Tottenham. So Spurs are going to sign City rejects: Adebayor, Balotelli... bet it'll be Bellamy next!
I've read in a few places now, Saints in for Celtic centre-back Jos Hooiveld, it's been reported that Jos wants a move, and will be allowed to leave if he wants to. Apparently Saints, Palace and Coventry all interested. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scotti...30-jos-hooiveld-hoping-for-deadline-day-move/
Read the bbc sport deadline day thing, Yobo HAS NOT left Everton yet but is expected to go. What a signing that would be!
Whoever is rumoured to join or linked to the club will not be signing, we all know how secretive Cortese is!
This is true. I've got a good idea, let's not discuss any players that we think might join because everytime we do discuss an 'imminent' transfer, the deal seems to fall through! It's like Cortese reads Not606 and says 'screw that, those forum posters know too much, pull the plug, quick!'
Sorry if someone's already reported this, but from the BBC live text: "Word now coming into us here from Burnley football club, and blow me down if it isn't hot. "We're hoping one in, none expected out." Don't know what that means about a possible Rodriguez transfer?
Aha well yes, but I spose I meant it could be that Burnley have rejected all our offers and it would take a very large offer for them to let him go, which while unlikely could still happen
Leicester have had a £4.5m bid accepted for Jermaine Beckford - confirmed by BBC Radio Leicester. That's another one off of our list then.
Beckford isn't worth that much, especially when you factor on his £30k (at least) wages per week. Think he'll be stroppy dropping back down the leagues, so may not even agree terms with Leicester anyway
