I think it quite worrying that he suddenly appears in that family's kitchen trying to flog them a car
Couldn't understand a word with that broad Scottish accent ! In all honesty though, I really hope he gets us playing enjoyable football. Last season was dire and I couldn't take more of the same. Whether we have the players to play that style is another thing, but we can hope it's an improvement.
We did indeed but even early on in his tenure the signs were not good ,our win at home in his first season against the dross up the road rumblings were already being heard
He sounds good, so fingers crossed. If he can show us signs of trying to play decent football, then that will go a long way, even if the finances are against him.
So we have a new manager. Was he the one I really wanted, probably not. But he is ours now for however long as he is with us. I am 100% behind him and hope he nails it. He has a difficult task on his hands as we are probably a month behind everyone else in putting a squad together. So beat the young man gets busy and brings in a few new faces. Good luck to him and hope he can get us playing better and actually winning a few games. For me I have to be honest I will take mid table now.
Another journey man hoping to use us as a stepping stone up, which is fine as we're used to that, as long as we see entertaining footy while hes here and stay up then its all good till the next guy has a go ! I wonder what promises (lies) the owners told him to leave the dons for us ?
Let’s say it as it is - if Rangers come knocking, he’ll be in Glasgow before you could say Sauchiehall Street ….
Why wouldn't he go ? Wouldn't you ? I would. Even pay my own train fare. Wind Street or Suckywhatsit Street ? No contest really. Presumably the Club have a replacement in their sights, just in case.
