    by Turkish military jets.

Is this truly the beginning of WW3? Hopefully not as I'm just starting my new job so I'd like to earn a bit of money before we're all blown to bits, plus I'd obviously prefer to see City win the league first!

I'm away training at the moment so apologies if this has already been mentioned and I've missed it.

I'll give it 10 posts before this thread gets shot down faster than that Russian jet under the 'no politics' rule.

FFS I haven't got round to buildig my nuclear bunker yet.

Those Turkish are ****ing idiots doing that. Utterly ****ing stupid ****s. I wonder why, look at their culture and who Russia happen to be bombing. It's clear where their loyalties lie.

They always think they're a better option for your bird than you are. Arrogance, sheer arrogance.

I expect much posturing, but nothing more.

    Something along these lines...

I know what you mean Plum, but the potential catalyst for WW3 is probably a worthwhile exception. Maybe...

The Turkish version doesn't add up! They said they had warned the plane 10 times before shooting! but their picture of the radar tracking shows its strayed into their air space twice over a small distance! The jets are doing 400 miles plus so they were only in their air space for a few seconds!

Putin was a KGB officer for a regime which shot down a civilian airliner killing over 300 people forvstraying into their airspace.

Oh I know all about that crazy b/stard but I'm talking about the Turks story of events! Their sums don't seem to add up! This isn't political by the way! It's maths!

The Russians aren't disputing the Turkish story, it's the seventh time in a month that Russian fighters have been warned or escorted out of Turkish airspace. They don't warn them when they arrive in their airspace, they warn them when they're heading towards it.

Putin has also accused turkey of buying oil off Isis! If that can be confirmed then it opens up a lot of trouble for them!

They're in too important a geographical location for them to suffer any consequences. Cocky bastards.

Imagine in 100/200 years when people look back at why world war 3 started, because someone shot down one plane that flew over a boundary for 30 seconds. They're gonna think wtf what a bunch of ninnys.

What do you think would happen if anyone flew over Russian airspace?

Didn't Russia blow that commercial plane out of the sky over Ukraine?

Not to mention the South Korean passenger plane in Soviet airspace when Putin was a KGB man.

Russians often encroach very close to our airspace over the northern parts of the UK.

The Turks lost patience and taught them a lesson as soon as they strayed in their territory.

It's all part of The Game.
