http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7485007/Pulis-furious-with-Meyler I never used to like Pulis, but I started to like him last season and even respected him as a manager for getting Stoke into europe. My opinion has now changed again after reading these sad, bitter comments. This is the same bloke that spat his dummy out after 2 blatant penalty decisions for Man Utd during the week. The fact he said Meyler or whatever he's called is very disrespectable to the player and the club! From what I saw if Meyler hadnt have jumped he may have had a serious injury! This is a player that has just come back from his 2nd cruciate ligamant tear, and this to$$er calls him a cheat for taking a jump!!
He was furious because he was faking an injury, when he wasnt touched. I don't blame him for jumping out of the way, but why fake an injury?
Pulls is a top class prick whose team play awful dirty football , the biggest culprits being Huth and Shawcross
Fake an injury?? How do you know he wasnt hurt after the way Huth dived in? He was already sent off anyway regardless if Meyler stayed down or not!!
Its really funny he has deflected his team's terrible play and tactics by this crap and all the Stoke fans are falling for it!!!
Anyone read what Gary Lineker has posted about Pulis on twitter. https://twitter.com/#!/GaryLineker_ Sounds very bitter to me, he wasn't complaining when they beat Tottenham and decisions went in Stoke's favor or when Woodgate was lucky not to get sent off against Wolves, today the decision (which I haven't seen) rightly/wrongly went against his team and they lost it happens, to e-mail photo's to match of the day is a bit petty to me. Also know he isn't the only manager who has been petty in the past.
if a player is not touched and rolls around like a tart to get a fellow pro sent off !!!! that is past the point for me .... no surprisin it was another foreigner divin about .. now go and grow a pair ... where u lot from ? Barbieland ?
Not here to defend stoke, I am one of their biggest critics, but Huth never touched him! Dont dispite that the lad jumped out of the contact and thank god he didnt get injured, but if there is no contact then dont pretend that you are hurt. Neither of the players actions are in the best interest of the sport or promoting decent behaviour to grass roots development!
Exactly. Hope they read the mail out, the whining ****. He knows his jobs on the line, yes, he's done wonders for the club, but akin to Reid for us, he seems to have hit his ceiling.
Your missing the point, the ref had already made his mind up even if he got straight back up! How do you know he wasnt hurt anyway??
And i guess a player cant get injured jumping out of the way of a challenge.....no......never played football have you......**** you, **** your manager and now **** off, sick to death of Stoke idiots today!
To the Stoke lads, Huth was off BEFORE he rolled about. There was contact (minimal), but why was his knee up? How do you know Meyler didn't hurt himself landing? We know Meyler and he's no ****ing cheat, 2 cruciates and a heavy landing, and your suggesting that might not smart a bit? Get ****ing real, Huth was off before he 'feigned injury'. How many do you get away with for ****s sake? Huth in particular.
a) hes bloody irish. b) he fell on a frozen ground after jumping out the way on a knee that he was out for over a year with trouble on! later on he went down with the same knee rolled his sock down and you can see his knee is a mess. didnt dive - got out the way - didnt roll just stayed down. how stoke can talk about cheating is beyond me - meyler was kicked off the park all round today, and early doors jerome pretty much suplexed mignolet.
Well said, Stoke are the dirtiest team in the league and Huth is the dirtiest player. They get away with murder week in week out! I was actually chuffed to see Campbell didnt start otherwise id have expected the worse for him!
Watch Meyler right leg as Huth goes in recklessly with no chance of winning the ball numpty! He then has to land after trying to avoid a broken leg. please log in to view this image
