Saints announce ballot system for STH

Fans who have had ST's for over 6 years and attended every home and away match last season (62) will get the chance to attend every other match, as will ST holders for over 4 years and have attended at least 95% of home games and 66% of away games last season (176).

1319 tickets will be allocated via ballot from the aprrox. 10,000 ST holders who have opted in. When you are drawn to a match, you will be removed from future ballots until every ST holder who opted in has attended a match.

 

Can't think there'll be that many falling into either category? Anyway, light at the end of the tunnel at last.

 

I've put in brackets the numbers.

 

The figures are 62 and 176 respectively are surely too precise to be anything other than the actual number of people who meet each category.

Initially I wasn't keen on prioritising certain ST holders over others. But those two categories are so minor, that I'm fine with that.

Yep they are 10% of the people - totally fair as if you have seen that many games you deserve full go

 

Haven't included the corporate seats which will make up 20% of the attendance.

1000k fans watching inside a 30k stadium sounds beyond tragic. I wouldn't go even if it was 10k.

 

20% is less than I was expecting tbf.

 

Some of the early round jpt games probably wouldn't have been much more than 10k tbf.

 

And they looked borderline tragic.

 

Yeah, can't complain with how they've allocated the 2000. Most ST holders have a 13% chance of going to the Sheffield United game. I was expecting around a 5% chance TBH.

 

Oh lighten up. Different times. It's going to be odd no denying it but it's better than no crowds at all.

 

If we get through this 2k per game stage without hearing a fan shout as clear as day on the telly 'Referee you're a ****!' then I'm going to be bitterly disappointed.

 

Around 13/2, I'll take those odds

 

I enjoyed some of those games tbf. Would wager some had a better atmosphere then plenty of PL matches since.
