Well I've always wondered what would be worse, being brutally bludgeoned to death or death by a thousand cuts... Guess we'll find out.
Not great watching and I wonder how many passes we completed in that first half, however I didn't expect Saints to win this prior and irrespective of Friday.
At least we will get through a wide variety of matchday thread posters. Everybody can have a go this season.
As much as I despise the way City have bought their success, I would much rather have dirty oil money owners than the self sustaining crap we have now.
Especially as there is nothing self-sustaining about it. It's managed atrophy and it isn't going to be a financial winner.
No effort, lazy passing, deep-as-f*ck defensive line, no pressing, all the time in the world for their wingers to make a cross, just dross f*cking surrender-football.
The opposition look pretty good tonight, I reckon they might go on to win something soon. And the guy who got the second, he looks very good, bet he goes on to score shed loads of goals in his career. Judge us when we play Everton, not Manchester 'no fee too big' City.
Expected nothing less than 4-0 today so going according to plan atm. I just don't see anything in our side that doesn't say relegation fodder atm but I guess we have to allow for this being nothing less than a game where they set out to lose by no more than 5. Build from there.
We were never going to win or trouble city, so Im not expecting much... But we really do look like a league 2 side or maybe worse. Passing is just so, so poor.
