Well, a couple weeks back the papers claimed he had signed a new 5 year deal then he came out and denied it. Now he is rumoured to be wanted by both Madrid and Barcelona... it would be great to see - even better if we put a 10% clause in

We would have been mad not to put a clause in, we had them bent over a barrel with the whole tapping up thing.

However, based on some of Les Reed' s work, he probably inserted a clause that we have to pay them 10%

I dont speak Turkish but it looks like Lemina only lasted 30 minutes on his first match for Galatasaray before going off with a stomach problem.

The thing we will never know is would we have got promotion under Pardew? We had a good team, so I think we would have certainly got out of League 1 the next season, but after that who knows. Doesn't help if the relationship between Chief Exec and the manager breaks down, so under those circumstances it's the manager who leaves.

 

Pards had upset/lost a few players as well. Fonte didn't like him. I fully understand NC's decision now. Nigel, well that sacking still upsets me..............even though I appreciate how clever the move was. We might not have got us relegated, but he wouldn;t have taken us further.
