If this game is called off I will be flipping mad. We've had years now to connect the undersoil heating, if they havent done it then why the hell not, fixture congestion almost cost us our promotion last year we dont want the same again.
Yeah fixture congestion due to rescheduled away games. When was the last time a game at St Mary's was called off? Has it ever happened? Not worth the expense.
If it did it would have been due to icy roads I bet, nothing under soil heating can do about that unfortunately.
OH yh got my years mixed up, it might not be worth the expense but from a fans point of veiw their is nothing more dissapointing than having a game called off last minute. Also IF we get to the prem we'll look abit stupid if we have to call games off cos we dont have undersoil heating as most clubs will do.
The only news from #Saintsfc so far is that their pitch covers work down to temps of minus 5...... we'll keep you updated This on solent sport twitter
Yh saw this. Well from my informal pitch inspection of my garden ahah! I can conclude that where the sun gets on the grounds it doesnt look to bad at all hopefully with the covers aswell we'll have a game on, really do hate it when it gets called off as you may have guessed!
My heart was in my mouth for a minute as a new tweet came up on solent sport starting game off..... but it was only Eastleigh's game!
Yes west ham have a little break before our game but they'll be rusty and take it as too much of a break and hopefully we will be back firing on all cylinders........... Hopefully. UTS
I was hoping for them to suffer from an extra suspension/injury or two today, to go with Nolan come Tuesday. Shame. Still, gives us the chance to close the gap. That's something.
With the Peterborough-West Ham game off, someone ought to tell the commentators to scramble down to St. Mary's...that one was scheduled for television.
That could be wrong, but it was the game for which I was seeing links (and had planned to watch with the sound off while listening to the Saints game).
