He was excellent wasn’t he? Had Kane in his pocket and at one point it looked like he was trying to physically put him in his pocket I always want England to win though.
He was good, too good. Wait for pundit bums with their "should go to XXXX big club to compete in XXXX cup/league" bollocks.
Burnley have found some form before the break and I would expect them to win really. Beating a **** Bournemouth team doesn’t mean loads in terms of halting our form, need to back it up with a couple of good performances in the league against teams around us. Burnley 2-0
By the way, can someone else do the dishwasher game tomorrow morning? I have been banned after breaking an expensive (WTF was it doing going in the dishwasher then?) plate. You need a decent kettle and it helps if you open the cupboards first.
No, that makes you a Saints fan first, then an England fan. In a perfect world, when England play Poland, Bedders would play a blinder, save two or three certain goals, maybe score a couple, but still end up on the losing side.
By the way, what would happen if you failed the dishwasher game? When was the last time it went tits up?
It’s nothing Susan. My younger twin has always been a bit of a drama Queen. He’s only lost to the kettle twice in 2 seasons. February this year and sometime back in October 2019. It’s all a load of superstitious nonsense. There’s absolutely nothing to worry about...
You must be referring to the 1-1 draw against Wolves. Look, Molineux is a tough place to get a result these days.
I am hoping for a reversal in fortunes for Saints against Burnley. It now transpires that some of our players had been suffering from the effects of Covid and I am hoping that the destruction of Bournemouth will have helped with our match winning mentality. Burnley are a team I get little pleasure from watching. The "Ginger Mourinho" comment about Dyche does seem apt as they are both prone to negativity although, from a personal note, Dyche always reminds me of a work colleague from about 15 years ago who had a similar gruff voice and was subject to much ridicule as he was always sciving off work and getting caught. He also had terrible personal hygiene issues and therefore you will forgive me for not being too enthralled by Dyche because of this unfortunate resemblance. I would like to see us win 4-0 and put them totally to the sword. A defeat for Newcastle would also help improve the weekend. I will be listening avidly on the radio as I repair my lamb chops cooked in various spices and served with a lime, chilli, mink and coriander drizzle courtesy of Sabrina Ghayour's "Persianna" - my go to cook books now that I have kicked Nigella in to touch.
