Game two of the season and both teams will be starting with a 100% record. Too early to call this a 6 pointer? Don’t know how we will line up but sincerely hope that we put in a performance that makes us proud, win or lose. I am sure Don or Tom will add the officials names, in the thread below. My last time on the thread saw us go a few games unbeaten, although they were mostly draws and Carabou Cup games, but that would be better than nothing. I also took over from Vin last time, so maybe history will repeat. UTFS. Change of name to reflect current location.

My preferred line up in 4-3-3 Bazunu KWP-Ketchup-Salisu-Perry JWP-Romeu-Lavia Aribo- someone-S Armstrong Can’t really think of a striker assuming Adams has been sold or just snubbed again
Saints need to be far more on the ball than Spurs were with regards to the weather. It's going to be even hotter than last weekend (30 degrees forecast in Southampton) with an amber heat warning issued by the Met Office. Water MUST be constantly available throughout the match for all spectators. People in the Itchen and Northam will be in the sun for most of the match so maybe provide sun cream as well (although sensible people would take some with them).
We owe Leeds one from the Mark Hughes “ghost goal” where it pinged off the backboard at The Dell. Time for revenge.
Looking forward to seeing the 7-2-1 formation in action for this one. Keep it tight at the back lads.
Anything but a win will make things very uncomfortable, even more so if we start we the 3 CBs at home to Leeds. I'd go: Bazunu KWP-ABK-Salisu-Perraud JWP-Lavia Aribo-Armstrong Adams-Mara
Drop Salisu. I think he just needs a break, the pressure seems to be getting to him. Baz KWP - Stephens - Bednarek - Perraud JWP - Lavia Stuie - Redmond Aribo - A. Armstrong While Armstrong was sh*t against Spurs, think it's only fair to give him a game against more beatable oppo.
I wouldn't be dropping Salisu. Up until the own goal, he was having a solid game on Saturday and he's our best CB in spite of his brain farts.
Lyanco then? Debut for ABK? We can’t keep allowing Salisu to make big errors and then find himself straight back in the team the next game. Dropping him for a while might wake him up. He is half asleep these days.
