My only hope is that we do a really Saints thing and have our first, and highest scoring, win in front of our lowest PL crowd of the season.
Mrs SR has ordered me to go to the pub to watch it and she will meet me there when she finishes work. Then have a couple more and then go for a curry .........sounds almost perfect.....we’ll it will be with saints getting 3 points as well
Put the sharp knifes in the draw, lock the medicine cabinet. Match day........... Anyone else got a really bad feeling about this. ****ting myself. More than usual.
The shame is I get bad feelings for every Saints match now and have had for the last 3 seasons on an increasing scale. I wish I didn’t but it’s a fact. Doesn’t change my passion level for The Saints but that’s the confusing bit. There’s no antidote other than a run of a) consistent team selection b) games being played by players totally committed to the cause c) getting a steady flow of points with more consistent form. Not a lot to ask is it?
I hate Friday night games, mid week games, Sunday games & late kick offs on Saturday. We don't seem to do very well, but saying, we are **** at 3pm as well! So difficult to be positive. Add Kevin Friend to that equation, and its enough to drive one to drink.
Thank god for that! One step us the positive ladder I take. (Was it supposed to be KF? Sure someone said it was midweek)
We have had a bit injustice against Watford in previous seasons. However, we have also got the fastest goal. I fancy us scoring early, maybe not 7.69 seconds but any early goal. Thing is they say an early goal settles the nerves. Who ever says that are obviously not saints fans.
Just stepping outside my warm house already makes me start to regret my decision to go to this one. You just know the atmosphere's going to be terrible if we do anything but win.
