What I don't get about Anautovic's red card was his arms out 'I'm innocent, I've no idea why the ref's done that' look afterwards.

Surely he knows there's cameras everywhere at football games?

Well, he is a bit dim. Whereas Noble, well he's a bit nasty. I reckon ref;s will be paying him a bit of attention in the coming weeks.

Fonte thought he could use that innocent look that says we are Saints, we are lovely and wouldn't do anything wrong. Doesn't work when you play for West Ham. :)

I really hope so. Regardless of the tackle, Knob Noble gave a"playful" whack on the back of Lemina's head & then threw the ball at his back hoping for a reaction, which wasn't received. Very surprised & pleased Lemina didn't: I know I would have squared up in that situation, which probably says too much about me. I'm still angry with Noble now. Absolute little prick.

Poll has said all the decisions from Lee Mason were correct except Nobles lack of a red card, but says Mason was distracted at the time.

I've read through most of the comments about the match, and Noble's tackle (I use the word advisedly), but what no-one appears to have questioned is that the restart after Noble's assault, sorry, tackle was a free kick to West Ham, at the point where Noble committed himself. I'm not terribly knowledgeable on the less well-thumbed parts of the rule book, but it should either have been a free kick where the other West Ham player (Arnautovic?) went down, or a drop ball, or probably a free kick to Saints. A free kick to West Ham, at the point where it was taken, would indicate that Noble was more fouled against than fouling, to paraphrase the Bard of Avon

It was a drop ball, but uncontested and played on as a West Ham ball, I thought?

No, free kick which Hart duly punted up field. We couldn't understand either.

I think he gave a foul for Lemina diving in first, and blew his whistle as Noble then ploughed in second.

Noble's tackle ws by far the worst but not punished becuase Mason had already decided ot award a foul against Lemina
