As funny as you find that, without a doubt they thought they had our pants down in that league. A ageing striker who their fans never took to or the star of the American national team who is a big draw commercially over there.
Not one post on here, or RTG, predicted that swap, that's why I find it funny that people are now saying it was 'obvious'.
No mate not saying the swap was obvious I was shocked myself. What I'm saying is we found it funny that they took Dozy in a swap for one of he best strikers we have had play for us. But I doubt they think for a second they didn't have our eyes out.
To be fair mate when I replied you had just put the laughing face. I thought you were laughing at them taken Dozy but now you have added to it I see you are laughing at people saying they knew they we had something to bargain with.
I think it's time mate. Lad came here, proven he can play, got a new contract at Wolves and went out on loan so close to where he lives he doesn't have to move. Now that's a mic drop if I even seen one.
that was an interesting thread so many differing points of view, Good luck to the lad in his career, thanks for the memories, enjoyed your skill, now lets see if LJ can light us up with another one out of the hat from the PL,to fire us on to promotion
I am struggling to remember any other swap deals to be honest, but I have a crap memory. Which others have we done?
I am gutted as I said all along I thought he would come back. He was brilliant last year for Johnson and I would not be surprised to see him go to the top. Hopefully we have another favourite to look forward to with the young lad from City.
wonder if he is on about this one mate Sunderland and Leeds in talks over swap deal involving Andy Lonergan and mystery player
I can't remember any and definitely can't remember any mention before it happened .... ... unlike most Sunderland deals it just seem to come from nowhere.
