    Just searched over there and there is no post between Oct 10 2014 and Jan 7 2015 that mentions Defoe (or Dafoe).

    On Jan 8 2015 there was a thread started saying about an Altidore-Defoe Swap.

    They asked would you be happy with this - the first reply was 'Nee chance!' and the second was 'I would be nursing a semi but there is more chance of me tea bagging the queen!' so you could say there wasn't any expectation of Defoe signing for us.
