    Northern Italy is like China...virtually no wind most of the time, prone to smog especially in winter when Italian towns abd cities often restrict car travel by number plate, alternating odd numbers with evens on alternate days, due to smog.

    Italians, like Spanish, hug and kiss even if they've only been gone 30 mins and the men handshake constantly,

    They don't pack their grandparents off to some remote home either- they usually live in, and most people live in apartment blocks with communal lifts, handrails. They eat out a lot and are not glued to the telly like in this country.

    We are isolated (so far) and hopefully we'll get off lightly,

    However we have plenty of daft dozy ****s who let us down on a regular basis.

    It's also flat, so there are no hills to trap the "weather" and whatever can build up and mix in it.

    Elon Musk lost any remaining credibility with the whole "pedo-guy" thing. He showed himself to be an egotistical prick over that whole thing. I was looking at Tesla for our first EV but will most definitely be spending elsewhere now.

    So today, had to ring home 10 mins before ETA. Met at the door by hubby with hand sanitiser. Marched upstairs. Stripped, (won’t lie .... quite enjoyed that bit.) Told to get in the Detol bath, and not come downstairs until I am clean. Everyone did this tonight, right???

    Assumed it was some Corona- based tomfoolery. I was wrong.
