He’s a proper horse, managed to win despite Cobden cocking up the ride. Can’t wait to back him at a decent price at Aintree when he probably meets Paisley Park and Thyme Hill again.
If only there was a 2m 4f hurdle race at Cheltenham for him Would you go against the stayers with him at Liverpool? I'd see him more in the Aintree Hurdle.
They’ll go Aintree Hurdle I would expect but I wouldn’t be put off with either race. I think 3 miles is fine but not at Cheltenham.
8lbs well an and at least 6 ahead of that mark - a stone well in and sluiced up. Never mind the price.
Nicky Henderson just 2 winners from 21 runners since Shishkin won at Kempton. The Lanzarote Hurdle is one he likes to target but you'd be a brave man backing one of his here. Misty Whisky for me.
5th, 2nd and 2nd today.. What a lovely brave little horse the two amigos is..a bonny front running effort and only undone by a very good horse.
Nassalam was considered not right to run 9 days ago so strange that he turned up. Never settled early and that probably cost him the race in that ground, would expect him to comfortably reverse the form at Cheltenham but hes unlikely to be good enough to win it. Duffle Coat hasnt a prayer, Adagio was clearly the best horse that day at Cheltenham, cant see either of them placing, Nassalam has a place chance. The finale is not where you want to see your triumph horse running so I was glad when Nassalam was pulled from the intended date. A tough race on heavy when not 100% probably was the end of his chances today but thats the risk you take backing Gary Moore horses for Cheltenham. Ive a score on Adagio at 33s but hes not good enough. The February race in Ireland will produce the winner.
I spoke too soon ...... test was positive after all, todays procedure cancelled. Maybe I'm asymptomatic (?) and have the virus without it affecting me ..... it's bloody annoying though!
