So sad but not really surprising, a terrible loss, perhaps his best days were behind him in a musical sense, but I always hoped to see him on stage again. STP are probably my second favourite band, I was lucky to see them once in 2001 and I always said it was the best gig I ever attended, and he was the main reason. A mesmerising stage presence that had to be seen to be believed, fantastic singer and a songwriter.
