There are all kinds of websites specifically for posting women's bits, openly expounding/ racist/homophobic/sexist views or swearing at people. Why people want the same privileges on a football forum has always puzzled me. I remember a time when there were posters, on here, raging because they couldn't post tits or fannies and were banned for insisting. The internet is a wonderful thing but it shortens the distance we have from weirdos.
To be fair to the bloke he watches loads of football from Non-League to Champions League. Lucky devil doesn't have to pay and I bet he gets a car park pass! If I wanted to know about a player he is the bloke I would ask. Managing a group of them is a different thing mind.
Unpopular opinion, but if he was being lined up by any potential owners as a potential DoF I'd be happy. Worked at the highest levels so would have a very good knowledge of the footballing structure required, would probably be good at communicating with a manager and a recruitment team. He's a bit of a joke figure and I'd hate him to be our manager, but genuinely think he'd be a decent shout to oversee the footballing side of a club, certainly better than Stewart Donald!
Whilst agreeing with the principle of allowing swear words I do quite like that this forum generally doesn't use them in "normal conversation"
I was thinking of Steve McClaren but Bri would probably be a better DoF than Donald as well, so either or!
It is, cos sometimes what you've written doesn't make sense if it isn't obvious that you've quoted someone.
It's always nice to have the option though. You know, when you need them for emphasis. Or just can't be bothered to think of a more intellectual word!
That's 2 separate things- he wont default so there wont be dell it's simple- they wont invest more as Donald wants out
