Brighton look solid defensively and a fantastic unit. They'll be difficult to break down, but I think we're a lot more powerful in midfield than Man Utd are really. If we come away from this game with a draw, that would be a great result. I think we should go there to pressure them high up the pitch. The line up I'd go for - ASM------------Wilson-------------Almiron ---Joelinton---Bruno----Willock------------ Targett---Burn-----Schar--------Trippier -------------------Pope--------------------- I'd keep the team as it is, but part of me is tempted to play Fraser and be a bit more direct because I sense Almiron will get eaten up by Brighton's defence. We could use Fraser's balls into the box and I'm interested to see his link up play with Wilson. This is likely going to be a very hard battle in the midfield. Prediction - Heart says 1-1 Head says 1-0. I feel we may struggle to break this team down, and I smell a 1-0 loss.
1-2 to the Toon with Wood coming off the bench to score the winner from a lucky rebound off the back of his head. TOON, TOON.
If Brighton play like did today (and don’t get some dodgy ref) then look a dangerous team and would be favourites for this. It’s like anything though, still missing a decent striker to put away some chances. Reckon 1-0 Brighton.
If Liverpool play like they did today and don't get some dodgy ref, then they are ****ed. Liverpool 0 Crystal Palace 4
I don’t think Brighton are all that. Man U were shocking, lethargic and predictable. Brighton went with an unpredictable line up but will get turned over against us like that, as it leaves gaps we would exploit.
A win against Brighton would be superb to go into the following games which could prove difficult, unless we have a heatwave in which case we will ****ing destroy the scousers
Just wait until we start playing Nunez for 90 minutes instead of 40. Guys banging in a goal every 35 minutes atm. on for 90+ goals in the prem this season.
