No pts up for grabs on the "like for like" ,
so at best Spurs can only finish with 66 pts.

The Villa game will be a "6 pointer"
(they are fighting for a UEFA slot) , and
Leeds may need to avoid defeat to
escape relegation.

 

PL (like for like with 2021-22 after 35 games) : Pts = -5, GF = +3, GA = +17.

 

PL (like for like with 2021-22 after 36 games) : Pts = -8, GF = 0, GA = +19.

 

PL (like for like with 2021-22 after 37 games) : Pts = -11, GF = -1, GA = +22.

So basically every 2 more goals conceded on the
"like for like" has cost Spurs 1 pt.

 

That's a surprisingly low ratio.

 

PL (like for like with 2021-22 after 38 games) : Pts = -11, GF = -1, GA = +23.

Enough said.

 

We threw away 18 points after scoring first against Southampton (2), Leicester (3), Bournemouth (3), West Ham (2),
Brentford (3), City (3) and Everton (2).

We also lost an additional point at Liverpool in the final minute, seconds after equalising.

We gained 15 points after conceding first against united (1), Leicester (3), Leeds (3), Bournemouth (3), Southampton (3) Chelsea (1) and Brentford (1).

 

That so many of those games came in the business end of the season is telling in itself.
