Sunderland AFC is continuing to deal with a range of challenges caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and would like to update supporters regarding 2020-21 season card renewals.

The club continues to implement the latest advice from the Government, the FA and the EFL, and will reassess the deadlines below in one month.

Early-bird pricing was set to expire on Thursday 9th April, but supporters will now have until Thursday 7th May to ensure that they won’t pay any more for their seat next season than they did for 2019-20.

The Direct Debit deadline has also been pushed back from Thursday 16th April to Thursday 14th May, with the first payment now scheduled for Monday 1st June.

Supporters wishing to move seats have until Friday 8th May to advise the box office by emailing [email protected].

Please be reminded that the Stadium of Light box office is currently closed, all requests will be actioned upon reopening, and as a result, any correspondence will not be replied to at this time.

The club will also provide an update regarding current season cards once further clarity regarding the completion of the 2019-20 season has been provided by the EFL and other relevant governing bodies.

    KEY DATES

    Early-bird deadline: Thursday 7th May
    Seat change: Friday 8th May
Direct debit deadline: Thursday 14th May
First direct debit payment: Monday 1st June

Dunno if anyone else is having this problem but every time I log on to the website I am unable to renew my ticket all I can do is purchase another seat. (Mine is currently unavailable as it's obviously reserved for me) I dont know if as I'm on the direct debit scheme it will just auto renew (which is what I want). Obviously no box office open so unable to get any confirmation. Anyone else having this issue.

If you are in the DD scheme it renews automatically unless you cancel or request to change seats, your renewal pack should have been sent by email on the 3rd March 2020

My brother buys his ticket and I’m his carer
We buy them at the office you can’t do it on line
He needs to show his disablement certificates
It’s what we had to do for the past three seasons
This time we don’t know what to do cause the office is closed
We can’t contact them we will miss the cut off date and loose our seats
We may have to buy new seats and pay more

Check your spam, my wife's went to her spam folder. My email didn't arrive and I had a bit of a barney with the ticket office, seems there was something wrong with their end so they posted me a hard copy of the renewal pack.

The deadlines will keep being pushed back until the ticket office is open I reckon mate.

Or if it gets to the point they can't be pushed back further they'll have to provide some other means for people like yourselves to renew your seats.

Maybe email them for now just so you've got your situation across to them.

Vince, not sure if this will help you but this is the bloke who sorted my issue out, bearing in mind they are not answering emails now until they return to work at a later date: [email protected]

I've got a similar issue to you, Vince . . . . my son's disabled and I go as his carer, and there doesn't seem to be any way to renew for us :emoticon-0145-shake

I've emailed Chris Waters in the past . . . . what a complete waste of time :emoticon-0101-sadsm
