Balut I believe it is called, AllHell. I had something like it in Mongolia, but with a lizard inside it. It tasted like vomit.
According to the OS season tickets will be available at this season's prices if you buy before April.
Ponders, forgive my ignorance, but what book are you writing, when will it be available and how can i get a copy ?!
Stu, thank you for taking an interest. My book is set during the period of 1035 and 1042, centred around the usurpation of Harthacnut by his half-brother Harold Harefoot. It covers the sibling rivalry, the influence of Emma of Normandy, and all of the contempt, cunning and needless slaughter which coloured that particular epoch. The planned release date was for later this month, but due to some additional editing and specialist input, the likely date of release will be early April. The book will be released on all of the current formats and shall be on sale in all of the regular retail stores. Nearer the time I will advertise the particulars and hope that a few on here will make a purchase and offer some useful critique. It is all rather exciting, but equally nerve-shattering. I have invested a great deal in this venture and even gave up on a good career to pursue this dream. Fingers crossed!
£575 for League One football? That works out at £25 per game. That's more than a bit steep. Some things never change I suppose. I'm disappointed to see the closed blocks are not re-opening either. It would have helped in keeping fans distanced, if that's what they are still going to do in August.
It is what it is I guess. Got to decide whether I can afford mine now. I'm inclined to wait to be honest, until we know more about possible COVID protocols.
If you can afford it .according to the clubs sales pitch ..it’s affordable football ...Pinocchio must of written that blurb
It's looking like the amount of season tickets sold will far exceed the fans allowed into The Valley. I'm waiting to start a thread next season 'Why buy a season ticket before knowing if you are allowed in?'. As an aside, have members seen updates on % of capacities being opened up?
If there is going to be a limit on fans allowed into the Valley, and if people have to sit further apart, WHY have the closed blocks not been re-opened? Is mask wearing gong to be required? What other COVID19 restrictions will there be? If these things are not known or determined yet, just let fans know that. Don't mislead folks (even unintentionally) into buying tickets they cannot enjoy using. I'm not attacking the Club. But lets be 100% open and honest about important questions that will have a massive effect on fans next season.
Thing is I had one last season kept the CAFC cash and just paid the cafc tv £10 game by game so ended the season having the cash for this seasons ticket all but a few quid ...so if can’t go in the coming season due to restrictions will just do the same
