I have just done a 2 year renewal for my boy and myself, so one senior and one adult, both cost exactly the same...........I think it might be me who is the mug.

So - you are obviously in the Rainham End. How the Hell is it a good deal for a Senior, on an OAP pittance, in the RE - to give up money TWO years in advance WITHOUT getting even a slightly lower rate than an adult - who is more than likely to be in full time paid employment?........... over to you brb

You forgot another important part of the deal, I now have a guarantee on living two more years, I'm too tight to die with Scally owing me money. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Some seniors are on better pensions than employed people.

It's like that moment in hospital, where you suddenly realise the NHS patient might actually be getting better treatment than a private patient despite all their paid up premiums...

Try telling that to my mum - (( did you read my post in the ARGS thread ? )) . We went down the 'private' route - cost a few £ thousand, then the private consultant wasn't prepared to sort out post-operative care - and refused to do surgery (( after we had paid for all the preliminaries )).............. and for gioblues' benefit - The ticket price for a 'Senior.' is age related - as is the OAPension - nothing to do with other income streams ----- The line is drawn at a 'certain ' age (( older at GFC than several other L1 clubs )) --- otherwise where we do we stop when drawing a distinction in what is charged for a ticket -- eg -- most anyone in each of the age groups (( maybe not under 12 )), could be on benefits -- should they be charged the same as a person in full time occupation ---- should the blind chap I know in the GRS be made to pay the 'same'-------- if you are only on minimum wage etc etc

this one's for brb- he likes it when a conversation gets ridiculous....

So - WHY - should the ticket price in Block A of the GRS be the same as Block G ? --- I would suggest that those in Block G are better 'placed', and closer to the action for most of the game than anyone in Block A.

I don't know, but would block G not be subject to reallocation in any given week for away fans?

Well - the stewards seem desperately keen to keep me in that block -- as I dare to pass through the (( pointless )) metal barrier refusing to show my season ticket.

Did you think I got it wrong ? Do you expect me to admit to that ?
I was being a little obscure in my answer to gioblues ---- you see, with the falling attendances --- and if we do get promoted, I would expect Mr. Scally to dedicate Block G & H of the GRS, and the whole of the BM stand - AND the Medway stand to AWAY supporters - just to fill the place ..........................have I convinced you that I didn't make a mistake ---------- besides, I did say that English is not my first language -- so - I'm having trouble in learning my alphabet................................................ you all do know that I'm going to make you pay for my 'slip' (( I'm just waiting for grumpygit to stop with his trivia, and get back to some statistics. ))
