Why would he be lucky to last a year?

Shakespeare was never a manager. Once that bounce period following Ranieri's sacking ended he was always going to find it tough.

His biggest flaw, for me, is that he was too 'pally' with the players. I don't think he commanded the respect that a proper manager brings.

He was given no end to spend in the summer and he failed, really quite miserably.

I think he'd be a poor fit and wouldn't last a year. Just my opinion.

It’s a shame really because in a 5th of the season he transformed Maguire into a England international!

Maguire has been the shining light of our season so far, and even he has cocked up.

Cost us against Huddersfield and Liverpool.

As much as I like be Harry you’ll always concede goals with him in your side. Oh your forgetting Arsenal he was marking Giroud.

He needs to be in a 3 IMO.

So many times under Shakespeare we make a late change to a 3-5-2 and look ****ing immense but then he reverts to the same ****e 4-4-2 that does not work without a world class box-to-box midfielder.

    Kasper
    Maguire Morgan Dragovic
    Albrighton Ndidi Iborra Chilwell
    Mahrez
    Vardy Iheanacho
Square pegs in square holes. Hoping that the next manager realises that.

With the players that Leicester have they shouldn't be in this position.
    Maybe it's a personality thing.

I really don't rate Albrighton but obviously I don't see him every week. He reminds me of Elmo, he'll just try and cross the ball no matter where he is on the pitch or who is in the box and very one-footed.

One of the most under rated players in the league.

It's a disgrace that he's not in the England squad ahead of the likes of Lingard IMO.

I thought he'd be a player who is appreciated by his own fans.

I'm not taking the piss but what is he good at? He seems to have decent work rate, seems a good team player.

Dribbling, defending and set pieces. He's also one of the best crossers in the league (second to De Bruyne IMO).
As you've said, he runs his nads off every game. He's had a tough start to this season but last season only he and Schmeichel kept up their 2015/16 form.

I always rated him, and was surprised when Villa released him.

It shows how far England have fallen that he would be considered for the squad, the same as somebody like Drinkwater. In years gone by they would be considered good top flight players but below international level, he's the same as somebody like Downing used to be until the last few seasons. I remember Elmohamady topping all these crossing stats so they can be a bit misleading.

I swear people say this about every assistant-turned-manager. It's just a bit obvious and convenient isn't it?

From the outside looking in he looked harshly treated, as did his predecessor.

Pretty sure many, many Leicester supporters were praising his appointment and anointing him the 'real' reason for their title win.

It's patently OBVIOUS why he got the hook - he had no plan B, he'd lost the dressing room, he was tactically naive and was forever putting round pegs into square holes, the **** had to go eh?

29 goals conceded in the last 16 league games. In the relegation zone.

Not sure whats harsh about it myself. The

I've generally found that people say "Managers don't get long enough" when they're not managing their club. We've been abysmal for ages with a squad that costs millions and millions.
