Proper hungover Askew’s fault (although fair play to him for not being a wuss like me stopping at 3am but keeping going with the Ashes and a bottle of Gin! ) 2-0 loss Early goal, no spirit, late goal to finish us off Allams Out
Might not be the best day for such a question – especially, if you’re in the midst of the dreaded overhang, but, it seems apt and may even remind you of the light. If I have a massive hangover from the night before (a **** one that lasts all ****ing day) but then go out again on the same night as suffering the all-day hangover, and perhaps drink even more than the first night (that caused the massive hangover), I never ever have any sort of illness type hangover the next day. So, can DB’T or any forum member, any budding Johnny Balls, answer why this is? I know alcohol can make you feel better sometimes if you're suffering, but you still think that I'd get some sort of comeuppance afterwards. Maybe my body's thinking that I've paid enough, or maybe it just used up its weaponary against me by this point?
I don’t know, but it’s a useful skill to have! I’m not too bad now after a fry up actually, but knew I was crap earlier when I started eating cold baked beans straight from the tin!
