    So, winner goes fifth.

They are very decent at home and we are pretty ****e away so really, Blades should win this one.

I feel it's a defining match for Ole's season and, ultimately, United career.

If we win,we go fifth and it's on wards and, hopefully, upwards.

If we lose, I think Woodward will panic and immediately sound out Pochettino for the job.

Which would be typical United, employ the latest out of work recently sacked manager.

One who has won the sum total of **** all, for which Moyes was lambasted and never given a chance by a lot of United supporters. Be interesting to see if this trophyless wonder gets away with it if we ever employ hi.

    I think we'll win though.

I think Poch's sacking will have alerted Woodward to his shortcomings, to his limitations. If he can't get a team with Harry Kane up front scoring goals it speaks volumes. I would have welcomed him joining us at the time JM was sacked, but I suspect the board will stick with Ole and if there is to be change, it will be Allegri.

    Team news coming up..................

    That's an odd side.

Assuming it to be three centre halves, wing backs, and only two at centre of midfield. Risky as **** with those two being Fred and Pereira.

Unless he's playing Jones as a DCM?!?

I take it McTominay is injured.

I'm going for a narrow away win for us.

Jones is getting his arse handed to him.

This is a silly formation, we're relying on two full backs to be wing backs and as a result we're over run in the middle.

We're a CM short. He needs to go back to a back four and reinforce the middle of the park

Would personally put Tuanzebe on as a DCM.

Get Jones off the pitch for **** sake.

Toon fan in peace. Wtf is ole doing playing that formation. They are totally dominating your midfield.

You should have been pumping that centre Park with players and grinding out a result.

Instead they are pissing on your midfield.

mans wtf is the front three doing. You can’t play 3 similar non interested players in a game like this.

Rashford is only interested when it’s on his terms.

Martial can’t be arsed and would rather be in Paris.

James looks like he’s going to cry.

Phil Jones is completely out of his depth out there.

Fred looks more like a cartoon character than a footballer.

Good question, **** knows where this team and formation came from.

James, Martial and Rashford aren't be supplied with the ball though.

By our two man non creative midfield!!

Only someone completely out of his depth would think Fred and Pereira on their own is a good idea.

This is the worst performance I've seen in a while. Zero effort in the middle of the park. This is all on Ole!!

    I turned off the sh**!

Same reason why we were two in the first half ended up costing us that game. So fricken sloppy and casual at the back. Ole's starting formation cost us the points here. Sheffield were all over us in the first half through direct plays and when we had the ball, it was almost as though we spent too much time thinking and looking for who to pass it. Too methodical, too casual and not enough energy. We needed dynamism, directness toward the opposition.

    What a frustrating day!

If Pereira or Jones ever play for United again Ole deserves to be sacked for that alone.

Lingard too, to be perfectly honest.

Kept Jones, got rid of Smalling.

Got rid of Lukaku, replaced him with no one.

The charge sheet of mismanagement is getting longer.

Never mind all that crap, I missed out on good divvy having put a ton at 8/1 for 2-3. Pissed, or soon will be, always worth a punt though.

When will ole learn that the strength of the team he is managing is based on speed and high tempo because of their youth and relative inexperience? This team could never pass the ball at leisure if their lives depended on it. Zero creativity in midfield.

How this team managed to be outplayed by Sheffield United in 70 minutes, only Ole will know.

The reality is the club has another option now that Pochetino is available. Ole better get his finger out and not rely on his credit with the fans and club.

Wan Bissaka playing further forward didn't work at all he's a very good defender but doesn't offer much going forward.

Accepting that Williams scored, both he and Wan Bissaka playing high up caused us problems, not least because it left that idiot Jones exposed leading to their goal. If that formation meant that we were supposed to press and harry in midfield, it failed miserably. Fred had an off day, he has been improving of late, but Pereira has to go - even Pogba might be better than him.
