Goal keepers: Chris Neal - Offered contract Defenders: Jermaine Grandison - CB/RB Connor Goldson - CB Reuben Hazell - CB Joe Jacobson - LB Darren Jones - new - CB Rob Purdie - CM/RB/LB Midfield: Asa Hall - new - CM Matt Richards - CM/LB Jon Taylor - RW Elliott Turner - ? Ryan Woods - ? Aaron Wildig - CM/RM Mark Wright - LW/RW Luke Summerfield - CM Rob Purdie - CM/RB/LB Strikers: Tom Bradshaw Terry Gornell Marvin Morgan Ryan Doble - ST/LW?
I would think one or two keepers (depending on whether or not Neal signs), another centre back or RB and another striker would be in order.
Turner said that his CM area was now filled. Six defensive players and seven midfielders (counting Purdie twice) I would assume he is after two goalkeepers, possibly another defender and I think another striker or wide player might be needed too.
Looks as though Turner will be going 4-5-1 next year from these comments: Or is he just thinking of having three central midfielders in the squad as last season (Wroe, Richards and McAllister), viewing Purdie as a back-up full back and Wildig as a winger?
Two goalies in: Chris Weale stats here Joe Anyon stats here Two more on the way > here at bottom List on page one updatedtoo
Both are pretty good keepers - probably at least as good as Neal and I hope they have no major blunders away like he did. It is amazing that Neal has signed for Port Vale and not us - this may be what GT was talking about when he said that clubs who had been bust recently were starting to pay crazy wages again. Parry is a persistent rumour and Ben Davis and Willmott from Luton have also been mentioned as possible incoming wide men on the Rumours site. I think we need a goalscorer and would not be surprised to see a proven scorer from a lower league such as Damian Reeves being signed.
I would agreee that a goal scorer is needed, does that mean we farm out Morgan or sort out his misfiring accuracy engine? Neal - I think he only got offered a year or he was told we might not be first choice keeper (perhaps told Weale was coming in)
I am unconvinced by either new keepers' records both mistake wise and fitness wise. I still think we desperately need another specialist defender and not a makeshift. We have enough one size fits all. I would be prepared to see how the land lies with our strikers at the start of the season and If necessary use any Collins money to strengthen later on.
our strikers will have had 10 weeks practising hitting a dustbin from 20 yards. may they all be on target and god speed our marv, el tel bradders and all our new signings. i suggest evesham fans protect themseves and do not stand too near the netting. floreat salopia
Paul Parry joins us from PNE http://www.shrewsburytown.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10443~2835894,00.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Parry Winger, Striker and LB. Soon to be 32 years old. First page updated and link put in

i think it may be time to loan bradshaw and doble out, and if necessary bring a striker in on loan. if el tel and our marv regain their form it may not be necessary. although we do not want to be like chelsea up front, er torres or torres!
