See above. Only based on the few crowd shots, as I was looking to see if I recognised anyone, as that seemed more interesting than the game, but I doubt that figure is accurate.
He will he’ll build one you know Won’t go back on his word won’t Adam Good time to borrow money apparently
I had my doubts when the HDM didn't have a photo of him and his lad in a field with an upside down map.
9000+ is likely to be more than we will get at the first home game. I hope I'm wrong, but the sales of season passes looks poor so far.
That’s certainly going to be the case if they don’t sell tickets to people without memberships. Two weeks to go before the first home league fixture (10 days before the league cup tie) and tickets still aren’t on sale. It’s a remarkable way to be carrying on when trying to rebuild a fan base after a year off.
Scrub that, it seems there's another block almost completely unsold... please log in to view this image
Seen as though Leeds United took 4,500 to Blackburn for a friendly, compared to Leeds Rhinos taking 150 to the MKM last night, I think City could drum up 4,500 fans to beat that figure.....
Makes you wonder why so few come to the cathedral of rugby in the rugby league capital to see their team play the world famous Man Utd of rugby league, doesn't it?
But Hull is a rugby town isn't it ? So they keep telling us. The FC Voices site leads with the banner THE CITY IS OURS. Is it really ? 9,000 for a league game against leeds when its £5 to get in is piss poor which ever way you dress it up.
Factor in also: - 1st game for yonks -Leeds is 2nd biggest rival after Rovers - no plastic PL football on to compete with. Shockingly low crowd.
Ok so what is a good crowd for us then for the QPR home game? Surely around 20k with it being the national game, no home match for 18 months, back in the Championship?
Unfortunately it will be nothing like that. Like the rugby, people have got out of the habit of attending live games and it will take some time and effort to persuade them back. Fc were offering tickets for a fiver last night and that didn't work so I hope City's marketing people realise this and have something in the pipeline to make attending live Championship football fashionable and exciting again. Personally I do not think making buying a ticket difficult, having no cash turnstiles and no cash payments will entice many walk ups.
