Today we are spoilt - Test cricket, the Rs at home and the Six Nations starting. Shame we can’t actually go to see any of it live, but I’m glad this stuff is still happening.

Italy being well beaten by France at the moment but it’s an entertaining game. Shame the Italian back three are out of position 98% of the time.

Probably between France and England to be top dogs this year, Ireland and Wales still struggling to get used to new (and in my view inferior to their predecessors) coaches, Scotland much better than they used to be and dangerous on their day, but over a tournament? I suspect the English pack will bash up Finn Russell, who really is a very good player, early on tomorrow.

Well, the Scots seem up for this and the English are sloppy and, as always, giving away penalties.

Scots play a very risky game though, looks great and inventive but the whole team need to be up for it and be really alert.

Billy Vunipola binned for a high tackle and England’s ninth penalty in 23 minutes. Who coaches these turnips?

Miracle that England only 3 points down. It’s hard to believe that not very long ago most of these players played the near perfect game against the All Blacks.

Try Scotland, Elliot Daly has to make the tackle, but great intent from Scotland.

Jocks good value here, should be further ahead. Farrell just closes the gap...

We'll never win a major trophy giving so many penalties away. Really strange that we can't cure this.

Russell binned for a trip and England pull it back to 6-8 with a Farrell penalty.

Scotland played that period a man down brilliantly.
    They look very good.
Not sure what's happened to England!?

Referee being a bit harsh on England, but Scotland deserve to be 6-11 ahead.

If anything England looking worse after HT......no control or discipline. Let’s hope the replacements can turn things around. Hard to decide who not to take off at the moment.

I do like the way Scotland play though, as you say, well deserved lead.

They're carving through our midfield at will.
I wonder if Jones has "lost" the players?
Hogg and Russell are destroying us.

What a ****ing kick from his own 22 by Hogg!

Has Watson actually touched the ball in this game?

    Another binning for England soon.

Watson gets the ball! A yard off his own line standing still, with the whole Scottish team in front of him. But he did keep possession.

Amazing that there is only one score in this. I hope if England do step this up the first hour won’t be forgotten about.

As well as Scotland have played, I can't quite believe how bad England have been.
Less than 40% possession at Twickenham.
    Scotland's to lose.

They’ll be gutted if they do lose, but they have missed a couple of penalties

    Pretty much all over.

    Scotland fully deserve the win.
England look a shadow of the side that hammered The All Blacks.

Jones seems to have lost this squad.

England playing like a team that have been run/trained to a standstill.
They look legless, lethargic and leg heavy.
Wouldn’t read anything else into it

Thought you’d turn up on this thread......going to talk Ireland’s chances down? :emoticon-0105-wink:

I’m glad the Rs won after that England performance, but I’m putting extra chilli in the pasta sauce anyway.

England losing in the rugby would’ve been a really enjoyable addition to the drive home after grinding out a 1-0 win :(

Worst performance from England for many a year.

    We beat Blackburn, though!
