Lets face it, sport fans do not have to be exclusively round ball chasers. We had a great thread throughout the world cup, despite it being a different sport.

If my thread offends, I am sorry.....but lets face it, we all love a bit of banter. Please ignore it if you don't like it.....

England were crap yesterday but got the all important win whilst Scotland blew it. Wales looked good but were lucky not to be reduced to 14 men for the remainder of the game against a clinical Irish team.........meanwhile the French did just enough against an ever improving Italian side.

As I started it..... here goes Wales for the Grand Slam (who'd have guessed)

Grand Slam for Wales, may not be as daft as it may sound. On paper Ireland should have stuffed us yesterday. The lads ground out a very credible win. The ref was poor all game and missed things on both sides. Yes a red card for Davis would have been the correct decision but the ref consulted his touch judge and agreed a yellow was sufficient.
By the end of the game we were missing 6 first choice players and still held our own. Not too shabby a day at the office if you ask me.
France and Ireland are the 2 toughest tests in this 6 nations and we have France at home on the final day. Could it be another decider in the capital? Who knows heh.
Scotland and Italy are not in it this year and to be honest I fancy Italy to turn over the scots. England were extremely poor but still ground out a win in a very poor game which Scotland conspired to lose.
England won't be an easy task at Twickenham but based on their performance yesterday they are beatable.
    Final Table, who knows?

    Wales
    France
    Ireland
    England
    Italy
    Scotland

    It can happen.

I must admit I enjoy most sports (as long there is not a horse in there) and I watch ScrumV, I used to be a member at Glamorgan until getting an ashes test became more important than the Glamorgan team.

BUT sorry, I think this is on the wrong forum.

swimaway, perhaps you should close this thread and open a new one on the Swansea Forum, where the posters are clearly more tolerant.

What next a boat race thread?

Think id rather that to be fair.

At least they dont all start singing Max Boyce songs by the river.

Perhaps there should be a forum for all public schoolboy minority sports.
