Maybe. Be interesting to see how much other clubs spent to get back out again. Sheffield United did it the right way, they thought long term and it's paying off.
Leonid Slutsky has no plans to resign but Hull City's head coach still in the dark The Russian is preparing for Saturday's Yorkshire derby at Sheffield Wednesday amid intense speculation over his future http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leonid-slutsky-no-plans-resign-847472
Good to hear he is not going to give Ehab the easy way out and walk, let him pay his contract up if they want rid of him.
Clearly not a man of honour...Still the Alarms were stupid enough to employ a man with no experience of English football/ the championship etc and failed to assist him, so therefore sounds as if either : a) we're stuck with him..or b) they'll have to pay him off whats left on his contract, assuming he's got one. I won't mind but Russia were crap under him, but they still got him, no doubt the cheap option...You get what you pay for!!!
Why should he resign, I doubt if he knew the full extent of the criminal damage wreaked by the present guardians on our club and the deplorable state to which Hull City AFC had descended.
The press conference has been called for tomorrow morning as normal, pretty much removing any doubt that he will be in charge on Saturday.
The only news i wait for is the ALLAMS HAVE sold the club. Not bothered who is our manager because I see no hope until the Allams have left
Not sure that I need to..However, my comment stems from the fact that he seems to realise that he is out of his depth. Though I don't have the transcript of his pre-match interview with Burnsy, I got the feeling when listening to him that he knew this and would resign. As he's not gone I must have misread the signals hence the reference to honour....
Sadly you'll be more likely to hear that hell has frozen over, first. Unless they reduce their valuation many-fold they'll never sell it, and also despite the waffle that they want to sell I think they'll be more willing to see the club in the National League then at that point sell it for a couple of quid, laughing their tits off as they exit the building.
It took a club the size of Sheff Uttd, six years and a number of managers to get back into the championship. Not sure it was the 'right way'.
So he's dishonorable if he stands firm against the Allams and holds out for a pay off? His employers have given him no chance whatsoever. No manager could pick a competitive side from the options we have. No manager could make a competitive team given the tools he was given. He's been properly ****ed over, Duffers.
