If you are referring to his gig at Bailey's in Hull then on the night my wife and I went to see him we were amongst quite a few people who walked out of the show after about half an hour or so. It was terrible and it has been the only show that I have walked out of, each song sounded just like the previous one and in the same dreary tone. He just sat on a stool with his guitar, and on this particular night he didn't have any connection with the audience, he was aloof. Whereas around the same era Mud had the place in uproar as Les Gray stomped around the stage engaging as many of the audience as he could. Instead of walking out, on this occasion no one wanted to leave.
