Sorry everyone, but I haven't been on line as I had a fall and hit my head on the edge of a door, which knocked me out. My wife phoned for an ambulance and I was rushed by paramedics to the hospital. It appears I have suffered some brain damage as they had to remove a tiny piece of my skull. I have also lost part of my memory, so excuse me if I do not remember things from a few months ago. Have found some notes I'd written about joining this forum, but don't remember much before that at the moment. The Consultant said he thinks my memory will return in dribs and drabs perhaps over the next six month to a year. They allowed me to come home as they needed my bed. Regards to all. Inkblot
The frog medics are fantastic Douglas. Removing a piece of skull and diagnosing brain damage, then you being discharged in 7 days is incredible. Allez les rouge.
Blimey, that's a bad knock. Thanks for letting us know Inky, you rest up and take it easy. Charlton Athletic's last few months are best forgotten anyway. Get well soon
My wife if allowing me to have 30 minutes a day on the internet until I am fully recovered. I sleep most of the day and night. Again, sorry, but I do not know about a 10,000 members list.
Don't worry about Royston and his fascination with Reams Doug. Look after yourself, get all the rest you need, and post or read the forum when you can. Stay safe
Hi Doug, Reams asks if you forgetfully mislaid his A-Z a couple of years back? He’s not been able to find his way to the Valley ever since.
Royston RejuvenatedGlobal Moderator, I can't remember you name. My wife tells me I have entered my birth day incorrectly it should have been April 22 1926 can you please correct it for me. TC (Lovely Geezer) I can't remember owing any money to you, please explain and my wife will try and sort it out.
Hi @Inkblot086 You are very welcome on here, but I’m anxious not to turn this forum into an online version of the Medical Digest. Obviously you haven’t been able to get to a Charlton game for the last 20 years or so (like Reams), but we would all be fascinated in these football famished times to hear of your experiences at the Valley in the Thirties and Forties (that’s the nineteen thirties...)
