Brilliant and professional performance. Cannot believe that Sky so called pundits are looking for the red card to be reversed. It was a potential leg breaker. Not intentional I agree but almost beyond reckless after the first tackle missed.
Class performance. Very, very good. Oriel MotM for me... just above a handle of contenders. Digne gets a mention too... not so funny now you silly little twat.
I'm Romeu/Vestergaard. With Adams in third. As I regularly say, it's amazing what a bit of competition for your place can do. A total reverse from when we went to Goodison the other month. Back then, Ancelotti's changes turned the game for the better. Today, they just kept on making Everton worse. Turned a close game where we had our neck in front, into a very comfortable and easy win.
Now we’re all reduced to watching it on telly, it is difficult to see everything that’s going on. I’m a huge fan of Redmond and have often come away from games raving about him when others have been critical. One of things about him is that fans of other teams often hope he’s injured and can’t play. So if the pundits thought he was good today it’ll do me. I’d have given it to Vesty for the second half, but it could have been anyone from 9 others - sorry, Alex. Having bugger all to do doesn’t cut it!
As dominant as it gets, quite liking the growing penchant for quietly seeing games out when we have the lead too.
Will James play or will he not??? That tactical gamesmanship proved a master stroke by Ancelotti Romeu man of the match hands down, work ethic, bite and class.
The only thing I can say about the red is the just before he trod on him he actually stopped his run, so it wasn’t on purpose. Was dangerous though.
