Arsenal is one, though their original name was of course. Miles off with the other. There's a place called Everton. Think smaller.
Where are we? I was considering how good the team is individually v some possible rivals. That is when Ralph isn’t getting us to play better than the sum of all our parts I picked Leicester and Palace. The former we aspire to be near and the latter we hope to be above. The question being, if you had both squads available who would start Palace - I think the starters would be mainly Saints players but Zaha & Van Arnholt would start & possibly Kouyate Leicester - Mostly Leicester starters with Ings, JWP, KWP & Vesty. Theo? Maybe Which would suggest to me that anything above 11th is down to achieving more as a team rather than by individual talent Any thoughts?
Jamie Vardy is basically a **** Theo Walcott, but I suppose he’d be useful off the bench Alex McCarthy seems to be growing in stature and confidence, but Caspar Schmeichel is the best keeper in the PL for me. Not sure who else in that Leicester squad would be a significant upgrade on what we already have tbh. James Maddison maybe. Although they’d probably all improve under Ralph.
Weirdly, I would kind of accept that. Obviously I never want us to lose. And Liverpool's form on the road this season - just three points from Villa, Brighton, Fulham and Newcastle - does suggest that we're got a better chance than in previous years. However, I still very much expect a Liverpool win. So with that in mind, an entertaining game - which no doubt is what a 3-2 would be - would at least be a consolation.
last night was our first clean sheet of the season so i think you may have more than a chance of breaking us down
