    Saints v Sinners.

Toothless Watford head to sad Southampton for a game that will probably be so bad that someone at Sky will lose their jobs for having it televised. MOTD probably won't even bother mentioning it. Both managers are under pressure to revive their club's fortunes but have had little success so far at doing so. This is as basement as it gets.
    The facts:
    • The Hornets have scored 8 all season and let in 26 = -18 GD
    • More prolific but leakier Saints have scored 13 and let in a massive 31 = -18 GD
    • Southampton sit one place above Watford with a point more.
    • Southampton = W 2 D 3 L 8 Watford = W 1 D 5 L 7.
Southampton should be praised by Watford fans for the way they let in 9 against the Foxes AT HOME. Putting Watford's 8-0 bumming away to Citeeeh into some perspective. This really is a clash of the ****test teams in the league at the moment and a loss will be another nail in the Hornet's or Southampton's relegation draped coffin.

Incidentally, Norwich host Arsenal on Sunday, so IF a team wins this game on Saturday they will fly up to 18th place.

    Team news to follow:

However, a cautious QSF will probably be up to his usual 5-3-2 tricks with the emphasis on a 0-0 and maybe scraping a 0-1 in the case that Ighalo can find his scoring form again.

PLEASE TRY TO ENJOY THE GAME.

I am not going as last time i went to st Mary's we lost in the FA cup, with that infamous bust up between CK and the fans.
It has never been a happy hunting ground for us I dont think, so they dont need my presence to jinx them even further - enjoy the game fez, and i hope that we can grab the 3 points we desperately need

That game was my second visit there, my first was the 1-1 with Ben Watson getting sent off... Never got to The Dell, alas.

I remember we did quite well there for a whille .

Richard Lee saves 2 penalties in one game and we then won 3-0.

Need that sort of luck Saturday!!

I went to the Dell a few times whilst at Uni there, practically standing on the side of the pitch. This means I have a small interest in Soton as a team to follow. Not on Sat though.

Also not. It was a tongue in cheek jibe at QSF´s tactics and chances. Ighalo's (and Deeney's) form from QFS's first reign brushed over his defensive style.

Short on defenders it seems .

Dawson ,Prodl , Kabasele and Jaamaat out .

    Surely won't play 3 central defenders ?

Come back Britos - all is forgiven!!!

Fermina - Mapps - Cathcart - Holebas??? Is that what we have with Masina as cover from the bench?

What's up with Kabasele? Bloody hell can we get any more of a threadbare squad esp defensively!!

Hamstring injury - probably caught cold by not having a game last week to maintain fitness .

    Dawson sounds like a concussion..

Flores seems to suggest they could play but it's not good for their "welfare "

Just when you think that the injuries are coming to an end they seem to start again.

    Got to win tomorrow.

Running low on confidence and even lower in the table.

IF we lose, we are REALLY in the mire.

Honestly, I fear we are fried this season.
