Les can still come out of this smelling of roses, but he needs to get the next decision right, and the timing is getting more crucial by the day.

It's a bit sad clinging to our glory days. That's long gone it 's doom and gloom now. No goals and lucky to get a clean sheet.

It is way past time for our manager to change everything. I'd drop Redmond for the rest of his life, play Jwp on the right. McQueen in on the left for tadic with boufal centre with gabbiadini up front. Time to give hojberg a chance with lemina if fit and Davis if not.

And I would also get Forster weeding the car park for a month till he remembers what his hands are supposed to be used for.

I can’t remember the last time I came away from a game really happily buzzing. Certainly not this season. I miss that feeling. Fans need a great victory every now & then. “Welcome to St Mary’s”... hah! More like “abandon hope all ye who enter here”

People being too optimistic in putting Sims in. I thought this was meant to be an extreme pessimism thread? Sims is still out after having his leg removed, oir dictors are still not sure how long it takes to regrow a leg. Meanwhile Lemina has contracted gangrene after grazing his knee.

    Forster

    Cedric Yoshi VvD Bertrand
    Tadic Davis
    Austin Boufal Redmond

    Long

MP2 has decided that Tadic has to spend the match as a DM to make up for causing the goal from there. Austin moved into tadic's place as he,s the only attacking player that less suitable and can make it look like his choice of tadic is a good player there.

Interestingly I've typed it enough times now my phone started to autofill the usual formation. Had to struggle to get this typed lol.

Nathan is right...we've had times like this in the past....fans need to be supportive. The players have to feel that support....not be even more afraid of making a mistake. And we also make ourselves look fools in front of the opposition fans....remember how much we like it when the other team gets booed....why give ammunition to them.

It's a shame that I've got tickets for the game but aren't really looking forward to it all that much.

I do think this is the game that decides the fate of Pellegrino. We lose and he's gone. I just can't see anyway back for him if we lose to a team in an even worse place than us.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

That would be McQueen for Redmond then, not McQueen for Tadic.

(And even McQueen is getting a chance to play left side before Tadic?!!!)

I would have McQueen for Redmand and JWP for Tadic personally then keep Boufal in the middle with Gabbi up front

If we have to stick with this same, useless/ineffective formation, then I too would be happy to see JWP come in on the right hand side (and I'd be delighted to see Redmond on the bench). But, as I have said, I would still give Tadic a chance on the left first, his correct position, before I ditch him too.

Not that I would expect JWP to come in and set the world alight, mind. Just a right foot on a stick, more or less.

Think I read somewhere that Everton have scored more own goals than any other premier league team. Please god, they manage at least one on Sunday!
