Table not looking pretty especially as we have played all of the bottom 7 teams.

But we are still at an early stage of the season whereby a win could put us up as high as 11th.

 

Is the referee new at this level?

 

I get the feeling Armstrong won't play for us again and will leave in January.

 

Played five of the top eight too. I wouldn’t worry at this stage. Win tomorrow and we go above Palace, who people think have had a really good start to the season.

 

I probably wouldn't go that far but the cynic in me definitely thinks there's more to his situation than being portrayed.

 

Yeah think the table is still taking shape. We've got 7 matches in December starting with this one so we'll know a lot more in the new year.

 

Why do I feel so uneasy about this season? Wednesday for me is more about our players' attitude and Ralphs coaching skills than necessary winning. As it stands though so far this this season our performance, leadership and individual player disappointment has left the stench of relegation in the air. Too many opportunities to gather points have slipped through our grasp. At the moment I do not feel optimistic.

 

Bugger. Yes I’m not sure why I put him in, we’ve all been discussing his absence.

 

Agree- the way they completely dismantled Man Utd was a sight to behold. Saints were lucky imho- if Salah hadn’t been slightly off form it could have been at least 7.

There are still things that concern me e.g. Stuart’s injury, lack of attacking midfield quality when he’s out, not being able to score and JWP’s dip in form
