Excellent win in the test match today. My predicting skills once again came to the fore, was discussing the match with a mate last night, i suggested we were unlikely to chase down 250 in the fourth innings and that we were batsman short resulting in Woakes batting too high in the order! Oh well one day I will get it right, but on occasions like this I am quite happy to be wrong.
Yup much the same, when Stokes and Pope were gone I went and mowed the lawn .......great cricket pundit me
I tried watching Formula-E earlier The sound of the race reminded me I have a dental appointment on Thursday...
Ronnie O'Sullivan made the worlds fastest 147 break faster than it took Mark Selby to make 1 shot today
Just watched the snooker world semi final , not sure what all the fuss is about I can play all night without potting a ball
O'Sullivan told BBC Two: "I never really think about titles. When I was a kid I never really dreamed I would be here. To be here and have had all those victories is a dream that has become a reality.
If you are a track cycling fan , BBC2 had a fascinating programme on last night about the Keirin cycling racing in Japan , presented by Chris Hoy it shows the tradition and strictness of this sport
Probably not been a Kentish superstar since Alan Knott and Derek Underwood. Geraint Jones, and Graham Dilley probably don't count.
Bob Woolmer from a similar vintage to Knotty and Deadly, Richard Ellison had a summer in the sun, Chris Tavare was probably the last Kent player to play in several series, though he generally bored us into submission so we forget about him.
Woolmer is a good shout, great batsman. Ellison was a good player but didn't stand out. And Tavare will never be forgiven for blocking out almost a whole day while I sat baking in the sun. Had Boycott down the other end too, so no excitement there either.
I bet the commentator would like to rerecord the absolute conviction that Whyte was on the verge of victory.
