    Former NFL player Phillip Adam has killed six people before turning the gun on himself after the police turned up.
    His father has suggested that head injuries during his time in the game contributed to his mental breakdown.

    It's definitely a possibility. There's an unusual amount of serial killers that have picked up significant head injuries prior to their murders.
    Fred West was in a motorbike accident that put him in a coma for a week when he was 17, for example.
    Richard Ramirez had two accidents as a child that resulted in head trauma.

    This is something that sport in general has to take more seriously and our own isn't doing enough right now.
