Twitter has it that deferred application of VAR has ruled out Maradonna's Hand of God goal. Both sides are being recalled to replay the last 39 minutes.

Since sensible hasn't started a Northampton thread, I will use discretion and post here that Derek Adams says Ryan Taylor will NOT be available for that game. Might be true....

Remi Matthews is available though and if it was up to me would probably play.

Adams wasn't ruling out the Tuesday night Rochdale game for Taylor to return.....but he would keep quiet about that anyway wouldn't he.

Matthews should play he has a better kick on him than Letheren....who did seem to be poorish at dead ball kicking.

Looks like we've seen the last of Simon Church.....the hip injury he had before he came to Argyle will keep him out for the rest of this season......came on twice as a sub and has accumulated ....12 minutes playing time.

Report now in that Makasi has had an op on his knee so that's his season done. That came out of the blue didn't it as there was no hint he needed an op or was even injured. What a bleddy season this has become. Just about every player and his dog has had one problem or more this season. I know clubs get injuries to players but I don't think I've ever known a season for us like this one. Sarcevic has been in training this week so I hope he is fit enough to play on Saturday or at this rate we will be fielding the entire Reserves.

It seems that 21 year old Moses Makasi continued playing after his injury....but his loan spell came to an end last Thursday returning to West Ham to have his knee operation.

I'd thought the loan was until the end of the season so that's the bigger surprise than the operation. They kept that a bit quiet didn't they.

But the injury has ended Makasi's season....so nothing really for him down here.....I can only assume that continuing to play was not a good idea.

WEMBLEY STADIUM TO BE SOLD ?

Shahid Khan owner of Fulham and the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars has offered £800 million to buy the stadium.
That is broken down to actually £500m for the stadium and £300m to the FA allowing them to keep running the Club Wembley Debenture and Hospitality Business.

There is talk of moving the Jaguars to London full time if it happens....bringing top flight NFL league gridiron football to London.

Didn't it cost more than £500m to build ?.....or am I mixing it up with the spiralling cost of Arsenal's Emirates Stadium that cost somewhere around £900m if my memory isn't playing tricks on me ?

    PS.....
    Having just checked.....

    Wembley Stadium cost.....£757million to build.
    Emirates Stadium cost.....£390million to build.

The FA seem to be happy about the deal.....why ?

If it cost £757million to build....why would they accept only £500million for the stadium....£257million less than the building cost......are they rubbing their hands together about still being able to use it and 'pocketing' £300million to run their lucrative business there still ?

I assume some of that will drip down the pyramid for little old Argyle to get some....<steam>.

Cost is not value......somethings are worth more than they cost and some less. The trick is to make sure your projects are in the first category!

From an entirely uncorroborated source I must emphasise. Rumour says his wages are too high for Scottish 2nd tier following Inverness' relegation

    We shall see.
